Nap Party Pictures

Here are a couple of good shots from Nap's birthday party last Saturday. Here he is with the Mariachis.

Here he is in his gift, a rocking chair purchased by his children and Angie.

Happy Birthday Napoleon!

Saturday, May 26, Nap Hernandez Jr. turns 75! Here he is as a young lad of 6 or 7. Following that is a picture taken of him last week. Best wishes can be sent to Nap@gvtc.com. (Please note corrected address.)

May 12 Weekend

It was awfully hot on Saturday. Jake provides a visual demonstration...

Also on Saturday we went to the graduation ceremony for my friend Richard Kay. He's the one facing the camera.

More Eastern Market photos

These photos do a better job of showing the damage from the fire. Efforts to rebuild are moving quickly. A fundraiser at a local restaurant raised $55,000 in one night!

Last weekend was the annual Market Day, which is a street fair that accompanies the usual market activities. Here is a picture of the line to get in to see the damage to the market. They should have charged a fee!
